Outstanding texture and color! This semi-dwarf, pyramidal-shaped evergreen shrub keeps its shape with no pruning. Soft foliage emerges bright yellow and maintains its radiant glow even through winter. Thuja Fluffy looks lovely paired on either side of an entrance. Hardy and burn resistant! Thuja plicata, a North American native, tend to be more deer resistant than Thuja occidentalis. Thuja General Information

Thuja are versatile evergreen landscape plants. Dense foliage provides excellent coverage for birds. Small branches may be used for floral arrangements. Long lived. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Thuja Plant Care

Keep the soil evenly moist from spring until the soil freezes in fall. Consistent watering is especially important during the first 2 years. Requires a well-drained soil. Fertilize lightly with a balanced fertilizer every spring. Sprinkle the granules around the base of each plant before new growth emerges and water immediately to move the fertilizer into the root zone. No pruning necessary.
