Sedum General Information

Sedum are grown for their distinctive fleshy foliage. They are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes - upright and groundcovers. A reliable, hardy and easy-to-grow perennial. Star-shaped flowers are usually in clusters or sprays that often change color throughout their bloom time. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Sedum Plant Care

Prefers full sun and average to poor well-drained soil. Can be divided in spring. No need to deadhead during the growing season. Cut back in early spring, as new growth will come from the ground, first appearing as little nuggets pushing up through the soil. On taller varieties, pinch back once during early summer if height control is desired.
