Primula General Information:

Primula are delightful in the woodland or shade garden. Flowers begin as tight little buds in the center of wavy cabbage green leaves and magically rise on 12-18 stems.

Primula Plant Care:

Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula may benefit from afternoon shade in hot summers. Can be divided every 2- 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant crown just above soil surface. Cut back to 1/2 after blooming to encourage reblooms in fall.
