Primula auricula are charming spring flowers. Available in unusual rich colors with a lighter contrasting eye. Evergreen rosettes of smooth, somewhat fleshy grayish-green, toothed leaves. Blooms in small clusters on 6-8 stems.
Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula may benefit from afternoon shade in hot summers. Can be divided every 2 - 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant crown just above soil surface. Cut back to 1/2 after blooming to encourage reblooms in fall.
Our plants are all grown in plantable fiber pots that grow incredibly vigorous plants, eliminate transplant shock, and are 100% biodegradable. They have tremendous advantages over plastic pots.
