Rosettes of thick evergreen leaves. Mixed flowers of an unusual variety of colors range from purples, greens, yellows to near brown are produced on 6" stems. More tolerant of summer dryness than most Primula. Flowers are great for cutting.

Primula General Information:

Primula auricula are charming spring flowers. Available in unusual rich colors with a lighter contrasting eye. Evergreen rosettes of smooth, somewhat fleshy grayish-green, toothed leaves. Blooms in small clusters on 6-8 stems.

Primula Plant Care:

Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula may benefit from afternoon shade in hot summers. Can be divided every 2 - 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant crown just above soil surface. Cut back to 1/2 after blooming to encourage reblooms in fall.
