Polygonatum odoratum 'Variegatum'
Polygonatum spread slowly by rhizomes, likes a moist but well-drained soil. Sweetly fragrant flowers makes this an elegant addition to your shade garden. Even the Hummers are known to visit. This is truly an all-season perennial.
Low-maintenance. Prefers a rich, organic soil. Division is seldom necessary but can be done in early spring before sprouting. Old flowers simply drop off plant. Stems can be pulled off easily after frost. Slow to establish but long-lived once mature.
