Potentilla General Information

Potentilla fruticosa are low-maintenance deciduous shrubs. Well-branched habit provides prolific flowering. Deer resistant. Does not tolerate the humidity of the Gulf States well. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Potentilla Plant Care

Established plants grow well in a wide range of conditions and are drought tolerant. Will tolerate any soil as long as it is well drained. If needed, prune branches by 1/3 in late winter to maintain full habit. Rejuvenate older plants by shearing back to 6" above ground level.
