Pieris japonica 'Interstella™' (PP31,866 'FARROWPJRF')
Pieris Interstella, also called Japanese Andromeda or Lily of the Valley Shrub provides four-season interest with its evergreen foliage. A stunning focal point specimen plant or works great in a mass planting. Not favored by deer!
Blooms on old wood. Should NOT be regularly pruned or cut back. Selectively remove branches as needed to develop the shape you wish. Prefers acidic, moist, well-drained soil and protection from winter winds. Fertilize in winter and early summer with a fertilizer designed for acid-loving plants - a product recommended for azaleas and camellias works well.
