Larger Flowers
Sparkling gems of lavender sport a lighter halo center bedazzled with a twinkling dark purple star-shaped eye. The fragrant flowers will create a wide river-like swath of lavender within 2-3 years. A blooming machine thick and lush! The rich lavender petals age to pleasing pastel shades for charming multi-tones. The best of two worlds, these spring charmers have native parentage and beautiful spring performance. Resembling Creeping Phlox but blooming a week earlier and with larger notched flowers that blanket a slightly mounded profile. Phlox Bedazzled Lavender is a North American native groundcover. Typically evergreen and quite mildew resistant. Performs best in full sun.

Phlox General Information

Phlox x bifida have similar attributes as Phlox subulata but with a more intense flower color than classic varieties. Low-growing, showy plants are suitable for cascading over walls or down a slope. Spreads rapidly to cover any open sunny spot. In rich soil, as much as 2' across, completely covered with flowers in mid-spring. Prefers sandy soil. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Phlox Plant Care

No special care needed. Can be trimmed back after flowering to the low green foliage if lush new growth is needed. No need to prune in fall, clean-up winter damage in spring.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!

100% Guarantee

We offer a 100% unconditional guarantee for all our perennials to reach you in good condition and to grow. If you're not satisfied, we'll reship or refund immediately. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns—we share your passion for gardening and want your new plants to thrive in your border!
