Twining mat of glossy tiny green rounded leaves on wiry stems. Fall and winter color of Muehlenbeckia is an attractive bronze green. Non-specific green flowers become black-seeded white berries in late summer. Works well in combination with spring flowering bulbs. Muehlenbeckia axillaris 'Little Leaf'
Muehlenbeckia is ideal for erosion control. Will quickly cover a slope. This variety is a great selection for those spots where grass is not wanted, on banks or under trees.
Follow a reqular watering schedule during 1st growing season to establish a deep root system. Apply a general purpose fertilizer in Spring before new growth. Once established, mow once a year in the Spring to promote thicker growth.
