A Cutting Garden Favorite
Like its namesake topped in snowy white, the double flowers with slender petals resemble layered ice crystals and bloom from June to August. With prolific flowering, the multiple layers of flowers disperse throughout the foliage and bloom in waves to extend the season. A tidy mounding habit. White flowers with their neutral tone complement and soften brighter colors. Scatter throughout your perennial beds for a crisp, clean addition. Shasta Daisy Mt. Hood offers lush summer flowers and combines easily with its neighbors.

Leucanthemum General Information

Shasta daisies are unsurpassed in the border and for cutting. Cheerful flowers late spring to midsummer. Combines easily with their neighbors. Whatever the color combination, put a Shasta between them and it works! Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Leucanthemum Plant Care

Give them a sunny spot and a balanced plant food in the spring and again when buds form for healthy, showy plants. Remove flowers as they fade to promote further bloom. Give these plenty of space since they don't like to be crowded. Can be divided every 2-3 years in spring or fall. Good winter drainage is helpful.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!

100% Guarantee

We offer a 100% guarantee for all our perennials to reach you in good condition and to grow. If you're not satisfied, we'll reship or refund immediately. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns—we share your passion for gardening and want your new plants to thrive in your border!
