Multiple awards winner with jaw-dropping color! The three elegant falls stamped with a sizable ink blue-violet blaze surround cool icy blue-blushed ruffled upright petals. Dwarf Bearded Iris bloom with the first whisper of spring’s warmth – perfectly formed in miniature.
An excellent choice for the rock garden or borders. Bearded Iris require minimum care and readily multiply. Dwarf varieties are great edgers.
Dwarf Bearded Iris are the smallest of Bearded Irises, with a height of up to 18". They are also the earliest to bloom. They are most effective in rock gardens or planted in drifts where they make a carpet of color.
Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho

Iris thrive in well-drained soils and should be planted so the tops of the rhizomes are exposed and the roots are spread out facing downward into the soil. Establish plants with deep watering at long intervals rather than more frequent shallow waterings. Drought tolerant once established. Divide every 3-4 years. Thin clumps before they become overcrowded. Benefits from a light application of balanced fertilizer in early spring and again about a month after bloom.
