A Dwarf Limelight
All the appeal of Limelight but at one third to half the size. Small, but mighty shrub, still a prolific bloomer with huge, lime-green flowers. Flowers age to white then rich pink through fall. Easy to fit into your landscape plans. Paniculatas are the most cold hardy-a native of Asia. Stiff upright branches never get floppy. Will need several hours of sun to do well. Flowers are more cone-shaped than ball-like. Can also be shaped into tree form.

Hydrangea General Information

Paniculata Hydrangeas are cold hardy, more sun tolerant and superb in the border for summer and autumn display. Blooming on new wood, the flowering is not affected by cold snaps and will bloom consistently every year. Provides winter interest too if flowers are left on. Hydrangea Plant Care

Paniculata Hydrangeas can be pruned in the fall, winter, or spring. Do not prune just before they bloom, and it is not necessary to prune them every year. For a strong structure, it is a good idea to trim out any crossing branches once in awhile. Shaping can be done as needed.
