Brigadoon gives us a bright new foliage color for shady sites. Appealing golden yellow oval leaves with a reddish blush. Bushy plants form a dense mat creating a bright focal point. You will hardly notice the flowers in the sea of gold foliage. Pincushion-like 2" gold flowers appear starting in late spring.

Hypericum General Information:

Hypericums spread fairly fast by underground stems. Good for bank stabilization. Excels even in poor soil forming a thick lush carpet. Evergreen in warmer climates.

Hypericum Plant Care:

Mow or shear plants in late winter or early spring to help new growth. Benefits from partial shade and moister conditions in southern gardens. Will benefit from division every 2-3 years in spring or fall.
