Near black centers extend symmetrical dark rays on each petal of these long-blooming, 2” magenta flowers. The large-leafed foliage of Dragon Heart typically forms a wide clump, but also reaches out with a few stems to frolic around its neighbors.
Cranesbill are very attractive along stone walls, rock gardens and provides a small area ground cover.
Perennial Geranium are always a favorite for its excellent mounding habit and late spring to summer bloom time. Lovely foliage complements the flowers well. Many of the flowers exhibit interesting veining.
Snip off spent flowering stems at the base or shear tops back to new growth to stimulate rebloom and freshen foliage. Generally does not need division but can be divided in spring or fall if desired.
