Billowing, graceful wands of pristine white blossoms are delightfully edged with wide candy pink margins. Long yellow-tipped stamens add a whimsical touch to each blossom. Vase-shaped habit, the bushy mounded foliage will be rosy tinted in cooler weather.

A native to the southern United States, Gaura will withstand heat and drought once established.

Gaura General Information:

Gaura are vase-shaped plants that bloom from late spring until fall. Will thrive in high heat and humidity areas. Will need winter protection in far northern states.

Gaura Plant Care:

Very tolerant of heat and drought. Likes good winter drainage. Deep tap root does not transplant easily - be sure to dig deep if moving Gaura. If needed, prune Gaura in spring to improve overwintering.
