"

Billowing, graceful wands of pristine white blossoms are delightfully edged with wide candy pink margins. Long yellow-tipped stamens add a whimsical touch to each blossom. Vase-shaped habit, the bushy mounded foliage will be rosy tinted in cooler weather.

A native to the southern United States, Gaura will withstand heat and drought once established.

Gaura General Information

Gaura are vase-shaped plants that bloom from late spring until fall. Will thrive in high heat and humidity areas. Will need winter protection in far northern states. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Gaura Plant Care

"Very tolerant of heat and drought. Likes good winter drainage. Deep tap root does not transplant easily - be sure to dig deep if moving Gaura. If needed, prune Gaura in spring to improve overwintering."
