Dicentra General Information:

Dicentra are an old-fashioned garden favorite. Pendulous flowers on slender stems grow from clumps of fernlike foliage in spring. Foliage goes dormant in heat of summer.

Dicentra Plant Care:

Prefers a shady, moist location. Can be divided in spring every 3-4 years. Ragged or yellowed foliage can be cut back to 4". Foliage may disappear during extreme heat in summer.
