Butter-yellow nodding flowers, like dainty fairy hats, rise on slender stems above wide glossy green foliage. Foliage sometimes displays garnet mottling when it emerges. After flowering, foliage will go dormant with warmer temperatures. Erythronium Pagoda will naturalize well with bulb offsets. 3 bulbs per bag. Bulb size #1
This deer resistant plant was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
Trout Lily produces 3-5 elegant pendant flowers per stem. Slender stems are 10-14" tall shooting skyward above a rosette of glossy foliage.
Plant 2-4" apart and 4" deep. Erythronium Pagoda prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fabulous for sun-dappled gardens. ‘Pagoda’ trout lily is a nice addition to moist woodland gardens, shady rock gardens, and mixed beds. It does best in rich, moisture retentive soil, and needs moist soil even when dormant.
