Hyacinth General Information

This sensational spring collection contains flower bulbs that are complementary in height and bloom in unison. Plant in sunny, well-drained soil. Hyacinth spring bulbs are best known for their fragrance. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 or more of one variety. Enjoy this selection throughout the winter from indoor forcing. In zones 9 and 10 Hyacinth bulbs require 12-15 weeks of chilling at temps of 35-50 degrees for bulbs to return each year.

Hyacinth Plant Care

Plant in well drained soil at least 6" deep and 6" apart. Foliage should not be removed until withered as energy is being stored for the next growing season. Stems can be cut back to maintain appearances if desired. Foliage should not be removed until it is spent to promote bulb strength. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
