A continuous kaleidoscope of changing color, the pale orange and rose pink spikes are highlighted with creamy white. With its scented foliage, Agastache are a living garden potpourri.
Agastache Kudos™ Ambrosia is an appealing perennial for summer through fall color in a sun-loving garden. Attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies and all pollinators. Goldfinches love the seed.
Agastache are equally good in the border and as a candidate for container growing. The better the drainage, the happier the plant. Scented foliage is good for flavoring drinks and drying. A customer advises us that her Goldfinches are wild for Agastache seed.
Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho

Good drainage is a must! Agastache thrive in full sun and rarely need divided. Most will self sow to spread, so deadhead by removing faded flowers to prevent seeding. Leave stems to overwinter; tip or remove new growth in early to mid spring for more flowering stems and a more compact plant. To promote strong stems, avoid too much water once established and fertilize only once every year or two in late fall to late winter.
