Rhododendron x 'Dandy Man® Purple ' (PP26,976 'LAVJ2011')
Rhododendron are noted for gorgeous and abundant spring blooms. Cut stems as they reach peak bloom for stunning floral arrangements.
Happiest in a protected area away from strong winter winds and in well-drained, acidic soil. Fertilize in spring with a granular slow-release product for acid-loving plants. Blooms on old wood, so trim branches or shape immediately after flowering so you do not remove the next season's flower buds. Annual pruning is not required.
