Euonymus fortunei 'White Album®' (PP23,961 'Alban')
Euonymus are good plants for a difficult spot - even dry shade. A great weed-smothering plant that aids in erosion control. Please plant responsibly if near open woodlands, as E. fortunei can get out of hand in a natural setting. This Euonymus is restricted from Indiana.
Tolerant of most soils except extremely wet. Prefers a dry to moderate well-drained soil. Can be pruned anytime, but preferably in the spring to keep a desired shape or trained to climb as a vine if given support. Spreads along ground, rooting as it goes. Rooted stems can be dug and transplanted. To accelerate growth, fertilize in early spring with a granular fertilizer formulated for trees and shrubs.
