Great for a Difficult Spot
Year-round foliage so bright, no flowers are necessary! Golden-tipped, lime-green foliage is perfect for a foundation planting, groundcover, low-growing hedge or under trees. This award-winning charmer is an eye-catcher in mixed container plantings too. Euonymus fortunei will spread along the ground rooting as it goes and may climb, if not discouraged, when it reaches a vertical surface. Wintercreeper will grow in close proximity to a walnut tree.

Euonymus General Information

Euonymus are good plants for a difficult spot - even dry shade. A great weed-smothering plant that aids in erosion control. Please plant responsibly if near open woodlands, as E. fortunei can get out of hand in a natural setting.

Euonymus Plant Care

Prefers a dry to moderate well-drained soil. Can be pruned to keep a desired shape or trained to climb as a vine if given support. Spreads along ground, rooting as it goes. Rooted stems can be dug and transplanted.
