A top 10 perennial in the 2011-2012 trials at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. Large flowers open with rich red and orange hues then mature to coral pink. Well-branched habit yields countless flowers. Petals radiate from dark orange-bronze center cones.
Butterflies flit and flutter throughout this lovely plant to sip nectar from the vibrant blooms. Echinacea provide a spectacular show in any sunny summer border.
It is hard to imagine a sunny perennial border without Echinacea! So much color in summertime and very easy to grow, our offerings include classics and some of the newest and most exciting advances in Coneflowers. Butterflies love the flowers, birds love the seeds, and we love the generous long-lasting bouquets.

Easy to grow, prolific bloomer. Deadheading will prevent seeding, but birds are crazy about the seeds, and the seedheads are attractive in the winter, especially in the snow. If removing them, leave the foliage at the base of the plant to overwinter. May be slow to emerge in the spring. These generally don't need to be divided, but can be divided in early spring or early fall.
