Ismene 'Sulphur Queen'
Ismene resemble daffodils with a central cup surrounded by narrow long petals. Intensely fragrant especially after dusk. Long, strappy foliage typically emerges first followed by the flower stalk with clusters of 3 to 5 buds. All our accent annuals are guaranteed to reach you in good condition and to grow, but we can't guarantee annuals to overwinter. Will be an annual except in zones 8-10 but can be stored over the winter in colder zones. Instructions
Hardy in Zones 8-10. Plant bulb with neck and shoulder just above the soil in moist, well-drained soil full sun to mostly sunny. Once the bulbs have sprouted fertilize monthly and keep soil evenly moist. Bulbs must be lifted in fall in zones 3-7 before the first frost. Try to retain as much root as possible. Place in a cool, dry location in peat or perlite. *NOTE: Bulbs must be lifted in zones 3-7.
