Anacyclus pyrethrum 'Garden Gnome'
Anacyclus are a mat-like groundcover with ferny foliage. Flowers close at dusk and reopen in morning. Closed flowerheads reveal the colored stripe on reverse side of each petal. Drought tolerant.
This rock garden plant prefers light to medium soils with good drainage. It dislikes excessive humidity. Will readily reseed. To divide, lift plants in March and split with a sharp spade. No pruning or fall care required.
