A High-Voltage Duo
Allium and Ornithogalum magnum (Star of Bethlehem) charge the garden with a powerful white and violet-purple color combination. This Allium, a favorite with its surprising sweet scent, shoots skyward with dome-shaped, violet-purple clusters at the tips of slender stalks. Star-like flowers, of Ornithogalum open from bottom to top creating glistening white pyramidal blooms. Our Beautiful Blends are complementary in height and bloom in unison. Sorry, we are not able to ship Alliums to the state of Washington.

Late blooming ornamental plants that work great with early flowering perennials. Do not plant too closely together since they multiply rapidly. Plant Alliums and Ornithogalum in full sun in early fall. Water well throughout the growing season. These sensational spring blends contain flower bulbs that are complementary in height and bloom in unison. Plant in sunny, well-drained soil.*Please note: We are not permitted to ship Alliums to Idaho or the Washington counties of Adams, Benton, Franklin, Grant or Klickitat.

Beautiful Blends Plant Care

The smaller varieties of Allium should be planted 4" deep and the larger varieties 6-8" deep. Ornithogalum magnum is a modest spreader and both Allium and Ornithogalum like well-drained soil. Spacing 8" apart.
