Hypericum General Information

Hypericum kalmianum are perfect for containers, mixed borders and foundation plantings. Tightly-branched mounds of willow-shaped leaves with profuse flowering in mid to late summer, it thrives in full sun. A deer-resistant North American Native. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Hypericum Plant Care

Hypericum kalmianum prefer moist, well-drained, rich sandy loams; but will tolerate poorer soils. Drought tolerant once established. Prune if needed after bloom in late summer or trim to shape in early spring. Blooms on new wood.
