Hollyhock General Information
Hollyhock are perhaps the definitive old-fashioned garden plant. Flowering from late spring through summer. From the Spring Celebrities™ Series, this versatile Hollyhock is a multi-use plant that can be grown in large containers or planted in the landscape. Best selection for the coldest areas (zones 3 & 4), not for the gulf states.
Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho
at this time.
Hollyhock Plant Care
Although biennial, allow seeds to fall and the clump will persist for many many years. May need staking. Rust (little orange dots on the leaves) can be a problem in high humidity and can be treated with a copper-based fungicide.
