Tulip 'Candy Prince'
With bright colors and classic egg-shaped blooms, Single Early Tulips bloom during cooler temperatures allowing for longer lasting flowers. Their shorter and stronger stems allow them to hold up well in early spring wind and rain. Some varieties are fragrant. Excellent for indoor forcing.
Plant in medium moisture, organically rich well-drained soil at a depth of three times the height of the bulb (usually around 6" deep and 6" apart). Foliage should not be removed until it has withered as energy is being stored for the next growing season. Stems can be cut back to maintain appearances if desired. The plant is intolerant of heat and may lose vigor when soil temperatures reach 70 degrees F.
