Tulip 'Sunset Skies'
These sensational Perfect Partners® spring blooming bulbs contain flowers that are complementary in height and bloom in unison. Darwin hybrid tulips have large, brilliantly colored blooms, a result of crossing Single Late Tulips (Darwin and Cottage) and Early Fosteriana Tulips. Their strong stems and beautifully shaped flowers make them ideal for cut flower arrangements.
Plant in medium moisture, organically rich well-drained soil at a depth of three times the height of the bulb (usually around 6" deep and 6" apart). Foliage should not be removed until it has withered as energy is being stored for the next growing season. Stems can be cut back to maintain appearances if desired. The plant is intolerant of heat and may lose vigor when soil temperatures reach 70 degrees F.
