Our Lily Sunny Morning welcomes droves of butterflies. Butterscotch-orange nodding flowers are freckled with brick red – warm and inviting! Arching reflexed petals reveal sparkling misty green stamens tipped with large golden anthers. Once established, as many as 40+ fragrant flowers gracefully dance on tall sturdy stalks above wide whorled leaves. 2 bulbs per bag. Bulb size 14/16 cm.

Lily General Information

Exotic looking! Be patient with Martagon Lilies as sometimes the 1st year they focus their energy on establishing roots and bulb growth; however, season 2 should produce a jaw-dropping display. They bloom just before and with the Asiatic Lilles and are hardy down to zone 3. Martagon Lilies once mature can produce a profusion of flowers on a single stem - a butterfly favorite!

Lily Plant Care

Martagon Lilies appreciate a dusting of lime annually to the soil. Note: Do not over water and do not add moisture-retentive amendments such as peat; well-drained soil is ideal. Try to maintain a some woodland leaf compost on top of the soil, but still must have good drainage down where the lily is planted. Dislikes being disturbed once planted.
