Lily 'Casa Blanca'
Orientals are the most beautiful and fragrant of lilies. Blooming later than other lilies, the flower size is truly spectacular. Plant behind or amongst other perennials for a dramatic effect.
Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. These plants do not tolerate alkaline soil. Plant 6" deep in groups of three for best display and space 6-12 apart. Cut off spent flower stalks once the petals have fallen, trimming them back to just above a pair of leaves. Leave as much stem and as many leaves as possible as they nourish the bulb for next year's blooms. Do not remove or cut back stalks until complete dieback has occurred in the fall, it could weaken the bulb. Taller varieties will require staking. Visit our Fall-Planted Bulb Guide for more information.
