Iris General Information

Dutch Iris brilliant colors and later bloom times make these a beautiful addition to the garden. Flowers are held on tender stems above reed-like foliage. Best displayed among other perennials, whose foliage conceals the plants as they go dormant.

Iris Plant Care

Requires a sunny site with well-drained soil. Plant 4" apart and 4" deep. To provide nourishment for the bulb, allow foliage to yellow and dry after the flowers are spent before pruning. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
