Multiplies Rapidly
Iris Blue Hill will wake up the early spring garden flaunting its deep purple-blue flowers etched with blazes of yellow and white. These petite treasures are good companions to Snowdrops, Chionodoxa and Snow Crocuses. They may be small; however, their vibrant color is impossible to miss.

Iris General Information

Smaller in stature, but just as dazzling as their taller cousin. Dwarf Irises are very early blooming plants. They bloom after snowdrops and about the same time as giant crocuses. Multiply rapidly, excellent for rock gardens.

Iris Plant Care

Requires a sunny site with well-drained soil. Plant 4" apart and 3" deep. To provide nourishment for the bulb, allow foliage to yellow and dry after the flowers are spent before pruning. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
