Stunning Planting in Groups
Soft butter-yellow flower spikes of starry florets mature to creamy white. Transition your winter-weary garden to life with color and fragrance well before most perennials begin to waken in spring and before it is warm enough to plant annuals. Hyacinth City of Haarlem (yes 2 as) is an heirloom variety that has held its popularity since the late 1800s. This beauty is named for the city in the historic Bollenstreek region of South Holland. Hyacinths transition a winter-weary garden to life well before most perennials begin to waken in spring and before it is warm enough to plant annuals.

Enjoy this selection throughout the winter from indoor forcing. In zones 9 and 10 Hyacinth bulbs require 12-15 weeks of chilling at temps of 35-50 degrees for bulbs to return each year.

Hyacinth Plant Care

Plant the bulbs in full sun and well-drained soil. Plant 6" apart and 6" deep. Cut foliage to ground after it yellows. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
