The velvety petals of Tricolor Crocus are spectacular! The vibrant petals start with a citrine center, then white progresses to a deep lilac. Looks charming when planted among solid white and yellow Crocus. Blossoms are unusual and exquisite. 20 bulbs per bag. Bulb size 7-9 cm.
Crocus can be successfully grown in a lawn for a spring meadow effect. For best effect, plant in drifts of 20 or more bulbs. Crocus naturalize well.
Plant in fall in well-drained, sandy soil in full sun to partial shade. Plant bulbs 3" deep and 3" apart. Hold off on mowing the lawn in spring until the crocus foliage begins to die back. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
