A clear white flower with orange pistils. Jeanne d'Arc is an heirloom plant from 1940! Like all crocus, it is one of the first signs of spingtime. Perfect for naturalizing, borders, or garden beds. 15 bulbs per bag. Bulb size 8-9 cm.
Crocus can be successfully grown in a lawn for a spring meadow effect. For best effect, plant in drifts of 20 or more bulbs. Crocus naturalize well.
Plant in fall in well-drained, sandy soil in full sun to partial shade. Plant bulbs 3" deep and 3" apart. Hold off on mowing the lawn in spring until the crocus foliage begins to die back. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
Our plants are all grown in plantable fiber pots that grow incredibly vigorous plants, eliminate transplant shock, and are 100% biodegradable. They have tremendous advantages over plastic pots.
