Snowdrop Windflower. Extra large pure white fragrant flowers are held well above lush foliage in spring. A great groundcover for bright shade that is not too dry. Nice when paired with bulbs. Flowers fade to form attractive cottony seed heads.

Anemone Madonna, unlike its fall blooming cousins, shines in the spring. The satiny white flowers with buttery yellow centers sway gracefully on slender stems. Charming!

Anemone General Information:

Excellent for shaded or woodland gardens. A low-maintenance groundcover. Best in humus rich soil and bright shade. Can repeat bloom in fall's cooler weather.

Anemone Plant Care:

Remove spent seed heads as desired. Easy to grow. Mature plants will spread quickly to fill in. Anemone benefit from a general purpose fertilizer or compost in late fall to late winter. Divide in spring every 2-3 years.
