Weigela are deciduous shrubs that are very adaptable and easily grown. Prolific, trumpet-shaped flowers on gracefully arching branches. Adored by hummingbirds. Proven Winners® selections are trialed and tested to be colorful, long blooming, carefree and easy to grow. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Weigela Plant Care

Blooms on old wood. Minimal pruning needed. If desired, prune after blooms have faded to shape. Fertilize in early spring with a slow-release fertilizer.
