We like to brag about our Bundle of Joy with its tidy domes of creamy white florets. They smother the squeaky-clean, bright green foliage in a blanket of starry kisses from late summer into fall. From the Rock ‘N Grow® Series, Sedums truly are the rock stars of the garden. They perform in tough conditions provided they have plenty of sun and good drainage.

Stonecrop provides beautiful low-care summer and fall color. Let dried flower heads remain to provide nice winter interest. Sedum store water in their thick succulent leaves which enables them to be extremely drought tolerant. Sedum Bundle of Joy is an upright Sedum variety great for a hot, sunny site.

Sedum General Information

Sedum are grown for their distinctive fleshy foliage. They are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes - upright and groundcovers. A reliable, hardy and easy-to-grow perennial. Star-shaped flowers are usually in clusters or sprays that often change color throughout their bloom time.

Sedum Plant Care

Sedum prefer full sun and average to poor well-drained soil. Can be divided in spring. No need to deadhead during the growing season. Cut back in early spring, as new growth will come from the ground, first appearing as little nuggets pushing up through the soil. Pinch back once during early summer if height control is desired.
