A rare primrose with an amazing layered flower-in-a-flower blossom. Two separate tiers of petals are formed on each individual flower that form clusters above the fresh crinkled foliage. Plants come in a single color per plant in tones ranging from sky to deepest blue. Place them near a path so that its unique flowers can be noticed. The unusual common name refers to gentlemanís hosiery styles of the late 1500ís when this species was first discovered.
Extremely frost hardy. This Primula will most definitely turn heads and start conversation.
