Primula General Information

Primula are delightful in the woodland or shade garden. Flowers begin as tight little buds in the center of wavy cabbage green leaves. The Belarina® Series Primroses are fully double, fragrant jewel-toned blossoms atop crisp crinkly foliage. Adorable!

Primula Plant Care

Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula may benefit from afternoon shade in hot summers. Can be divided every 2 - 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant crown just above soil surface. Cut back to 1/2 after blooming to encourage reblooms in fall.
