Hibiscus General Information

Hibiscus are very useful for the mid summer to early fall bloom. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils except very wet or very dry sites. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Hibiscus Plant Care

Pruning can be done in late spring. If desired (but usually not necessary) Rose of Sharon can be heavily pruned by removing undesired stems at ground level. Shaping is okay when desired.
