A Hummingbird Favorite
Joining the Pumpkin Spice Craze, this delectable variety flaunts bronze-orange lobed foliage with leaf veins traced in mahogany red. Cream flowers on dark red stems appear in early summer. Our Pumpkin Spice is guilt free – no calories and super-long shelf life. Heucherella Pumpkin spice is a villosa hybrid; therefore, it is more heat and humidity tolerant with greater vigor than other Foamy Bells. The dense mounding foliage is evergreen in most climates. A cross of Heuchera and Tiarella, Foamy Bells form an expanding mound flowering late spring into summer with strong leaf colors and great flowers. Versatile!

Heucherella General Information

Heucherella are an interesting cross of Heuchera and Tiarella. Forms an expanding mound flowering in late spring into early summer with strong leaf colors and great flowers. Versatile - excelling in the north, as well as the heat and humidity of the South. If grown in full sun, will need more moisture. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Heucherella Plant Care

Remove old stems of faded flowers for additional bloom and to tidy up so that the attractive foliage can be appreciated. Can be divided every 3-4 years in early spring. Remove and discard the old woody parts of the crown. In cold climates, winter mulch applied after the ground freezes will help prevent root heaving.
