Seriously long bloomers, the large lavender-pink 2” flowers with dark veins sparkle against the emerald green mats of foliage all summer.
Geranium wallachianum is native to the highland areas in the Himalayas.
Perennial Geranium are always a favorite for its excellent mounding habit and late spring to summer bloom time. Lovely foliage complements the flowers well. Many of the flowers exhibit interesting veining.
Snip off spent flowering stems at the base. Should flowering stop in the heat of the summer, shear tops back to new growth to stimulate rebloom and freshen foliage. Generally does not need division but can be divided in spring or fall if desired.
