It is hard to imagine a sunny perennial border without Echinacea! So much color in summertime and very easy to grow, our offerings include classics and some of the newest and most exciting advances in Coneflowers. Butterflies love the flowers, birds love the seeds, and we love the generous long-lasting bouquets.
Easy to grow, prolific bloomer. Deadheading will prevent seeding, but birds are crazy about the seeds, and the seedheads are attractive in the winter, especially in the snow. If removing them, leave the foliage at the base of the plant to overwinter. May be slow to emerge in the spring. These generally don't need to be divided, but can be divided in early spring or early fall.
Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots.
