Magenta daisy-like blossoms are showcased as a tightly woven meandering carpet of vibrant color. The succulent foliage seems to glisten as though covered in tiny ice crystals hence the common name Ice Plant. Prefers a fast-draining soil and all are drought tolerant once established.

Delosperma are evergreen perennials in warmer climates. The foliage brings lushness to dry areas.

Once established, no special care is needed. Prefers a sheltered site and dry conditions in winter. Good drainage a must. Good plant for sandy soil. Likes a gravely area and may also be used as a green roof plant.
