Astrantia General Information:

Flowerheads remain attractive for a long time. Astrantia are an old cottage-garden favorite, but works well in contemporary-style gardens, too. Use towards the front of a sunny, yet moist border, or at a woodland edge. Excellent filler plant and cut flower.

Astrantia Plant Care:

Astrantia love any moist soil. They do not like to dry out. Can be cut back to new growth at base of plant if foliage declines in hot summers. Leave new basal growth for winter. Divide in spring or fall every 4-5 years.
