Easy to Grow and Maintain
This Yarrow sparkles with lavender-pink flower clusters aging to lighter pink. A sure sign of warm weather, just like fireflies, the showy flower heads on sturdy billowing foliage will light up your summer garden. Achillea Firefly Amethyst profusely flowers on sturdy stems, excellent for cut or dried flower arrangements and is an appealing perennial for summer through fall color in your sun-loving garden. Heat and humidity tolerant. Achillea Firefly Amethyst differs from standard millefolium types as it has a billowy habit and broader foliage and remains sturdy and upright.

Achillea General Information

Achillea are perfect for that hard-to-grow spot in your garden. Tolerant of drought, wind and heat; these selections grow well in almost any soil type. Excellent fresh cut flowers or dried. Flowers from summer to early fall and blooms are irresistible to butterflies. They do spread, so give them room to fill in. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Achillea Plant Care

Yarrows are low maintenance and best in full sun with well-drained soil. Remove spent blossoms to promote continuous flowering. Plants can be cleaned up in spring or fall. Leave any fresh fall foliage to overwinter. Divide in spring or fall every 4-5 years.
