Tall Wands of Soft Lavender
Perfect for a narrow border needing height. Tall wands of soft lavender can be seen from far, far away. The spiky flowers are a hit with butterflies, hummingbirds and bees too! A nice contrast to more rounded flower shapes in the garden. Plant Veronica Lavender Lightsaber in any well-drained spot in your sunny border. Now sit back and watch as it yields countless flower spikes beginning in mid-summer. Flower wands open from the base to the tips for long-blooming flower power. Dark green, bushy mounds of sturdy foliage is not a favorite of deer; however, hummingbirds and butterflies canít seem to stay away.

Veronica General Information

Veronica provide some of the clearest true blues available in perennials, along with rich purples, pinks, and whites. Neat tidy plants have glossy foliage and will fill in without overpowering. Long-lasting color. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Veronica Plant Care

Prefers evenly moist soil with good winter drainage. Can be divided every 3 years in spring or fall. To keep tidy plants, shear back by 1/2 after flowering. If not cut back in summer, prune down to basal growth in late autumn.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!

100% Guarantee

We offer a 100% unconditional guarantee for all our perennials to reach you in good condition and to grow. If you're not satisfied, we'll reship or refund immediately. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns—we share your passion for gardening and want your new plants to thrive in your border!
